Why Did You Want to Become a Dentist?
Seeking to expand his expertise, Dr. Ahn pursued further studies in the United States. He attended his second dental school at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, the top-ranked dental school in the U.S., and earned his second DDS degree in 2010. Although he initially planned to return to South Korea, he and his family fell in love with the U.S. and decided to stay. After tiring of the snow and cold weather in Michigan, they moved south and became proud Texans.
Dr. Ahn has been providing orthodontic care in the DFW area since 2010, creating beautiful smiles for thousands of patients. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Texas Dental Association, and he is also an Invisalign-certified provider. Additionally, he is a board-certified orthodontist in South Korea.

What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Ahn has been married to his wife for over 20 years, and they have two daughters, Jimin and Hamin. In his free time, he enjoys playing sports such as golf, ping pong, snowboarding, and mountain biking, but above all, he cherishes spending quality time with his daughters.
