All-on-4 full-arch dental implants in Grand Prairie, Arlington and Commerce, TX

If most of your teeth are missing or failing, or a loose denture makes eating difficult, All-on-4 replaces a full upper or lower arch with fixed teeth. The teeth are attached to four implants, so they stay in your mouth instead of coming out like a denture. This treatment is offered at our Grand Prairie, Arlington and Commerce offices.

All-on-4 $15,999 per arch

About All-on-4 / Full-Arch Dental Implants

All-on-4 is a full-arch treatment in which four implants are placed in the jaw to support a fixed bridge of teeth. Because the back implants are often angled, the treatment can sometimes work with less bone than placing one implant for every tooth. Depending on your bone and how stable the implants are, temporary teeth may be attached while the implants heal, and your final arch is attached after healing.

Who considers All-on-4

  • Most or all teeth in an arch are missing
  • Remaining teeth are broken, loose or failing from decay or gum disease
  • A regular denture slips, rubs or makes chewing hard
  • You want fixed teeth instead of a removable denture

Treatment options

Upper arch

Four implants support a fixed upper arch. Your dentist checks the bone and the sinus area when planning.

Lower arch

Four implants support a fixed lower arch, a common choice for patients whose lower denture moves.

Both arches

Upper and lower arches can be planned together for a complete set of fixed teeth.

What to expect

  1. 1

    Consultation

Your dentist reviews your health, examines your mouth and takes X-rays to see whether All-on-4 fits your case.

  2. 2

    Written treatment plan

You receive each step, the timeline and your cost in writing, along with insurance and financing options.

  3. 3

    Implant surgery

Any remaining failing teeth are removed and four implants are placed in the arch, with temporary teeth when your case allows.

  4. 4

    Final arch

After the implants heal and bond with the bone, your final fixed arch is attached and adjusted for your bite.

Benefits

  • Fixed teeth that do not come out for cleaning
  • More stable chewing than a removable denture
  • No denture adhesive needed
  • Helps preserve jawbone where the implants are placed

Risks and limitations

  • It is a surgical treatment, and not everyone has enough bone or good enough health for it
  • Healing takes several months before the final teeth are attached
  • The arch needs careful daily cleaning and regular checkups to keep the gums around the implants healthy
  • Risks include infection, implant failure and, rarely, nerve or sinus injury, and parts of the arch can chip or wear over time

Recovery and aftercare

  • Follow a soft-food diet during early healing as your dentist directs
  • Expect swelling and soreness for several days and use pain relief as instructed
  • Clean under the arch daily with a water flosser or special floss
  • Keep regular checkups so the implants and arch can be checked and maintained

Cost, insurance and financing

All-on-4 is $15,999 per arch. These are starting prices for standard cases. Your exact cost is confirmed in writing after your exam and X-rays, and extractions, bone grafting or other added procedures can change the total. The team can review your insurance benefits and third-party financing options before treatment.

Frequently asked questions

Is All-on-4 the same as dentures?

No. A traditional denture rests on the gums and comes out. All-on-4 teeth are attached to implants and stay in place. Implant over-dentures are a middle option that snap onto implants but can be removed.

How long does All-on-4 treatment take?

The implants need several months to bond with the bone before the final arch is attached. Your dentist gives you a timeline at your consultation.

Can I get All-on-4 if I have been told I do not have enough bone?

Sometimes. The angled placement used in All-on-4 can work with less bone in some cases, and bone grafting may be another option. Your exam and X-rays decide what is possible.

Which offices offer All-on-4?

All-on-4 is offered at our Grand Prairie, Arlington and Commerce offices. Dr. Hema Kishore Chapala, who has placed more than 2,000 implants, sees implant patients in Arlington and Grand Prairie.
